The company has been consolidating itself in the global market, covering a greater number of countries and customers served. Enhancing this expansion process, the path set by the company is the Brazilian market, consolidating the Cocco Miami brand and also opening new international markets.

On June 1, 1988, Gilvando José de Lacerda, together with Jamir Emidio Fernandes created the company ""Creações JGil Ltda"" - brand MINIPÉ.
nI the beginning, they manufactured 36 pairs a day. At that time, we went through several government plans, but our e n t u s i a s m and good work were essential to overcome any difficulties and move forward.
At the end of 2003, they separated the company and Gilvando, along with his wife Marta and children, began a new battle taking on new challenges under the MINIPÉ brand. As a result of the effort, by 2004 300 pairs were produced per day. For this, we invest in new technologies, adapting manufacturing processes to achieve footwear of the highest quality and comfort. The great aceptance of sports shoes by children, made the brand MINIPÉ known throughout Brazil.
We currently produce more than 750,000 pairs. Our goal is to innovate and meet market demands. Al this, under strict manufacturing standards and always prioritizing the quality, comfort and trust of the end customer.
Another of our biggest concerns is the quality of life of our workers, constantly ensuring that they enjoy a clean and healthy environment. In addition, MINIPÉ si a sustainable company, concerned with the environment and uses recycled and recyclable materials in its
manufacturing processes, properly managing al waste resulting from our manufacturing process.
