With two annual editions, the Brazilian Footwear Show presents the Brazilian footwear industry's collections to the market. BFSHOW, the biggest footwear trade show in Brazil, is the meeting point where the plurality and diversity of "Made in Brazil" connects with buyers from all regions of the country and the world. Below, check out the highlights from previous editions of the event.
The 3rd edition of BFSHOW, a footwear trade show that brought together over 330 brands from November 11 to 13 at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo/SP, recorded a new high in attendance and business deals. According to the organizers, more than 10,400 buyers visited the event's pavilions over the three days—double the attendance of the November 2023 edition.
When I discovered Brazilian products, I realized that they had much higher quality and variety. We currently work with seven Brazilian brands and BFSHOW is giving us the opportunity to expand our product mix from here.
Since the second edition, we have been in talks with a large wholesaler in Peru, but we had not yet formalized our exports. In this edition, we made our first international sale, a market that we will work on even more from now on.
I believe that we will have a growth of between 20% and 30% in business carried out here, in relation to the November 2023 fair, contact with the domestic and international market, where we had visits from Canada and Argentina.
We opened new clients both in the domestic and international markets – in Algeria, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, England and Guatemala.
BFSHOW is in the right place and on the right date, with logistical facilities and a very clear positioning focused on business. It is very similar to the main fairs in Europe. We had much better results than the fair held in May. We are even more optimistic about the May 2025 edition.
The debut of BFSHOW raised the standard for industry exhibitions in the country. The fair, which took place from November 21 to 23, 2023, at the FIERGS Event Center in Porto Alegre/RS, generated many business opportunities and was based on transparency as a guiding principle for its execution.
The second edition of BFSHOW, held from May 21 to 23 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, brought optimism for second-half sales in the footwear industry. The event, promoted by Abicalçados in partnership with NürnbergMesse Brasil, featured 318 exhibiting brands and received more than 9,000 visitors, including Brazilian and international buyers from all continents.
