The first edition of the Brazilian Footwear Show - BFSHOW, which takes place at the Event Center of the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Fiergs), in Porto Alegre\/RS, on November 21st to 23rd, is open<\/a> to visitors. The event, held by Abical\u00e7ados in partnership with N\u00fcrnbergMesse Brasil, already has the guaranteed presence of companies from 70% of Brazilian footwear poles and from all segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abical\u00e7ados' CEO, Haroldo Ferreira, points out that most of the brands already confirmed will be exclusively with BFSHOW. \u201cIt is a vote of confidence from a sector that embraced the idea of having its own fair, in which the market and its aspirations are in charge. Another differential is that the event is not carried out by a third party, it is carried out by the association that represents the Brazilian footwear industry, with the money from it being reinvested in agendas and projects of interest to the sector, aiming to defend, develop and promote Brazilian footwear\u201d, comments the leader, citing the example of the largest trade fair in the world, Micam Milano, which is carried out by the Footwear Association of Italy. \u201cAnd we don't need to talk about the potency of Italian footwear. These are courageous attitudes that will make Brazilian footwear a global protagonist,\u201d adds Ferreira, noting that Abical\u00e7ados already has more than two decades of experience in international fairs supported by Brazilian Footwear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the expectation of receiving more than 10 thousand national and foreign specialized visitors in the three days of the event, BFSHOW also has the support of the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), which is mobilizing its nine international offices - in the United States (Miami and San Francisco), the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Israel (Jerusalem), Colombia (Bogot\u00e1), China (Beijing and Shanghai), Belgium (Brussels) and Russia (Moscow) - to attract buyers. \u201cWe will also have an edition of the International Buyer project, which will add more importers of international relevance to the event\u201d, says Abical\u00e7ados Project Manager, Let\u00edcia Sperb Masselli. Another differential, continues Leticia, is that the entity is receiving nominations of international players from the exhibitors themselves, which will make the action even more effective. \"We will certainly have many of the world's leading footwear buyers at the fair,\" she concludes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another factor that draws attention to the realization of the so called Brazilian Footwear Fair is to have in operation one of the main exhibition promoter groups in the world, the German N\u00fcrnbergMesse. The group's portfolio has more than 120 international fairs and congresses (14 of them in Brazil) and more than 40 pavilions. Annually, around 30,000 exhibitors and more than 1.5 million visitors attend the events organized by N\u00fcrnbergMesse, which is present, through its subsidiaries, in China, the United States, Brazil, Greece, Italy and India. The group also has a network of about 50 representatives, operating in more than 116 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group's CEO in Brazil, Jo\u00e3o Paulo Picolo, highlights the training and experience of the promoter's team, as well as the professionalism to deliver a fair different from what the market has been presenting in relation to the sector's exhibitions. \"The focus will be results and business. We've prepared, for example, a simplified visitor experience, where the Fair was organized into segments. Added to this, we have a complete infrastructure in the pavilion, which involves parking, security, food, internet and air conditioning, providing comfort to visitors during their connections. The focus is convenience for business, so much so that the fair is positioned precisely in an easily accessible place, with facilitated logistics, since the FIERGS Exhibition & Convention Centre is 10 minutes from the Salgado Filho International Airport\u201d, evaluates the CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data from Abical\u00e7ados indicate that, in 2023, the sector is expected to produce more than 860 million pairs of shoes, of which about 130 million will be exported to more than 150 destinations. The number, which places the Brazilian footwear industry as the largest in the West, is another attraction of BFSHOW, as it should attract buyers from all continents to Porto Alegre\/RS.
