The 5th edition of BFSHOW, The biggest footwear trade show in Latin America, opened today (November 10) with strong expectations for business. With an estimated 12,000 visitors over its three days (the show ends on the 12th), the trade show brings together around 350 Brazilian brands from production hubs across the country and all segments. The event is taking place at Distrito Anhembi, in S\u00e3o Paulo\/SP, and registration remains open for retailers. Organized by the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abical\u00e7ados) and N\u00fcrnbergMesse Brazil, the footwear trade show saw solid traffic on this first day from both domestic and international markets. Abical\u00e7ados\u2019 Executive President, Haroldo Ferreira, noted bustling aisles and business being concluded. \u201cKey retailers were at BFSHOW, which energized exhibitors. From the international market, we also saw strong turnout right on day one, especially from importers coming from Latin America,\u201d he said.
N\u00fcrnbergMesse Brazil\u2019s CEO, Jo\u00e3o Paulo Picolo, underscores BFSHOW\u2019s growth as it marks its second anniversary this November. \u201cThe show is recent and is already the largest business platform in Latin America for the sector.
